An interesting flower-shaped ceiling frosted glass flush mount. Manufactured by Glashütte Limburg in Germany during the 1960s. The shade is held onto the white metal ceiling plate with two pieces of rectangular metal which the shade slots onto and screws around into place which makes it very easy to access the bulbs when they need replacing.
The shade is made from textured frosted glass. Two E27/26 screw in bulbs are required. A LED candle bulb would work best to evenly spread the light and to create less heat/energy. The "Limburg" label is visible on the metal supporting plate. Rewired and in full working order. In very good vintage condition. Perfect for a low ceilinged small room of the home such as a bathroom, cloakroom or hallway. It could also be used as a wall light. One available. Not a pair.
