A beautiful Italian Murano art glass candy bowl formerly a three-sided ashtray which is attributed to Dino Martens and Arte Vetraria Muranese. The bowl is beautifully designed with colourful millefiori, swirled ribbons of reds, greens and blues with a base background of numerous silver flecks. The underside is black which contrasts beautifully with the colourful exterior above.
A perfect addition to a coffee table perhaps to hold cellophane wrapped sweets or just as a beautiful much to be admired display piece. It's best displayed where you're able to see it from above perhaps also on a low shelf or side table. It would also make a wonderful birthday or wedding gift.
In good vintage condition with some small scratches to the base and underside on the black part of the bowl.
