Circa 1920s Arts and Crafts antique English Oak haberdashery display stand or column originally used for displaying hats. These days it can be used as a candleholder or converted into a table lamp base. The stand shows a rich dark stained brown hue with wonderful fine grain running throughout. The column sits on a square bevelled base with a slightly smaller bevelled square plinth situated on the top. This has been fitted at an angle to the base. The square tapering column has three small holes drilled into them close to the top for some reason in the past unbeknownst to me.
In good vintage condition with some wear commensurate with its age - a few small chips and dents in places..
