Danish 1960s,space-age, UFO shaped, mid century, large orange/rust coloured, white and blue hanging pendant light. This timeless design Model - PH5 pendant light was designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in 1956. This lacquered metal light is a deep orange/rust colour on the top and white beneath, in order to reflect the light evenly and beautifully, with the exception of the element underneath the canopy which is blue. The vertical supporting rods are are grey contrasting with the blue. To access the bulb the top section turns beneath the three chrome screws which hold it in place. Very easy..
