A stunning 1960s Rosewood pedestal dining table with a wonderful deep grain patina. Made in Denmark and designed by John Mortensen for Heltborg Mobler. The table sits on a central pedestal base with two independent extension leaves which require storing elsewhere when not in use. The table extends from 130 cm in diameter to 180 cm and 230 cm in length (2 leaves x 50cms depth each). The table slides open on strong metal runners which each leaf sits on top of and clips onto the table. The table has been completely restored, refinished and polished. Stamped underneath: Heltborg-M. Danish Made.
In very good vintage condition with some minor age related wear and tear.
