A rare set of 8 Danish leather and rosewood dining chairs designed by Architect Kai Kristiansen in the 1960s. The chairs are from the 'Univers' series from 1965. A beautiful and classic design and said to be the best design from the many years he collaborated with Magnus Olesen purely in terms of their craftsmanship. In very good vintage condition with the patina of the rosewood being shown at its very best.
The chairs feature a cushioned and curved back for comfort and support. The seats of every chair have been repadded with new foam and rewebbed for extra comfort and supprt.
Price is for the set. The chairs already have CITES certification in place for export to Europe, USA and elsewhere.
