A striking 1960s three-tiered crystal chandelier manufactured by Kinkeldey in Germany.  The chandelier is composed of 30 faceted square crystal prisms suspended from a chrome stem and canopy. Each glass prism is secured onto the frame with a feature round-headed screw in its centre.  There are 9 prisms on the top row, 12 on the middle tier, which stands proud from the upper and lower tiers, and 9 on the bottom row.  Twelve small E14 screw-in pygmy bulbs which are evenly spaced to radiate and refract the light evenly through the prisms.

A single larger E27 screw in bulb sits within a chrome dome with a white interior which shines the light downwards.  I have used a slightly different coloured filament bulb in the images to help illustrate and emphasise how it looks. This chrome dome is an interesting shape very similar to the engines of a space rocket.

In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the faceted glass.  All the glass is removable from the frame to help with transport and cleaning.  Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.  A chrome ceiling cup is fitted to the top of the chrome pole to hide the wires as they connect to the ceiling.
