1970s Pair of Handblown Square Glass and Chrome Wall Lights by Peill & Putzler



An unusual pair of 1970's German Peill & Putzler handblown square wall lights/sconces. These highly unusual, sculptured, futuristic, textured, glass lights are hand-blown with a lunar style surface and glass droplets running across the light with a white egg design set within it. A highly polished chrome frame sits behind the glass with a 1cm border running around the outside. The sconces would also work as ceiling lights if required. The lights sit on a 12 cms in diameter x 2 cms deep round metal base where the wiring is hidden. This can be either set within a wall cavity so the light is flush with the wall or screwed into the wall. The base consists of a white metal bracket which attaches to the wall.
