1970s Wilhelm Wagenfeld WG 24 Table Lamp

1970s white opal glass domed shade table lamp originally designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in Germany during 1924.  Model WG 24. The lamp originates from an early reproduction by Tecnolumen in the 1970s.  The glass shade is held onto the chrome-plated steel circular frame with three small screws which can be released when the shade requires cleaning, storing or transporting.  A vertical chromed-steel rod sits within a glass tube which supports the shade.  A thick glass circular base finishes off the lamp beautifully. An on/off pull cord with a chrome ball bearing on the end completes the lamp.

The lamp is in a very good vintage condition with some small surface scratches on the underside of the base.  Makers label on one of the supporting arms to the shade.  Makers stamp on the bottom of the chromed-metal rod underneath the base stamped - TECNOLUMEN BAUHAUS 9729

The lamps were sourced from a German Interior Designer who originally purchased them in the 1970s.
