1960s Dutch Cascading Raak Hanging Light

An unusual and striking cascading hanging light manufactured by Raak in the 1960s.  The light consists of five chromed pendants which are formed by three  removable connecting rings suspended from a chrome disc and tube.  The lacquered orange interior gives the impression of an inverted flower.  A single E27 screw-in bulb sits inside each flower. Each individual pendant has a 10 cms diameter and can be adjusted in height or can be arranged in an order you prefer.  The pendants are suspended from a round back disc which fixes to the ceiling and hides the wires.  A chrome rod screws tightens the disc making it flush with the ceiling.  There is some age related pitting to the chrome and lacquered orange which is barely noticeable when in situ.  A beautiful light perfect for a hallway or above a dining table.
