Pair of 1920s Swedish pair of leather club chairs



Pair of 1920s Swedish polished leather club chairs by Otto Schulz, with studded detail and gold velvet cushions. Otto Schulz was a German architect and designer who operated the the interior design shop Boet in Gothenburg during the 1920s-1950s. Otto played an important role in Swedish design.

Repairs: Chair 1 - Old repair to the top at the back. Repair to leather long line on RHS panel

Chair 2 - Repair to leather top part of panel. Repair to leather bottom part of panel

These repairs are from tears in leather, which are common in old chairs. Replacements made: The armrests have been replaced with new leather. Both front panels of the chairs have been replaced with new leather. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
