Midcentury Danish Rosewood extending dining table designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik. The table has been beautifully and painstakingly restored highlighting the wonderful deep grain, sleek sculptured lines, and tapered solid rosewood legs. An interesting design and functional feature are the drop-down legs which add additional support and stability when the leaves are in place and fully extended which automatically fold under the table when not in use or required. The table extends to 2.7m when all three inserts are in place. Each insert is 50cms. A rare piece and difficult to find in this condition.
