1950s Alfred Cox Teak Sideboard

Striking 1950s Alfred Cox Teak sideboard designed for Handicraft and originally sold through Heals and hand-made to a very high specification. Every drawer is made with dovetailed joints and very well constructed which is rare to find in today's furniture manufacture. The sideboard features four drawers with simple sculpted handles that sit on taperred splayed legs with supporting feature cross bars.

Alfred Cox's furniture is increasing in popularity because of the quality, style and its past links with Heals and other reputable furniture retailers. This design is one of their finest and rarest mid-century modern designs. It's in great condition and would make a perfect addition to a large hallway, dining or living room. It's also stamped in the drawer with the AC logo.
