A rare 1950s two-drawer vintage Brazilian Rosewood and Beech writing desk in the style of Ico Parisi. The feature, sculptured, legs have a deep dark brown ebonised stain which contrasts against the Rosewood of the desk. A central angled display shelf joins the two legs together also adding additional support to the desk. An original brass key gains access to both drawers to lock or open them as required. The desk has beautiful feature angled legs reminiscent of the work of Ico Parisi. The drawer fronts feature a vertical ribbed detailed pattern with two central brass lockable keyholes. A striking and beautifully constructed desk which has also been re-polished and waxed. In very good vintage condition. There is a very slight sway which is hardly noticeable.
