1950's Murano Glass Fish Sculpture by Riccardo Licata, Cenedese

Murano handblown glass sculptural paperweight aquarium containing one central fish swimming above emerald green seaweed or algae. Air bubbles within the glass create the illusion of the fish breathing. Designed by Riccardo Licata and manufactured by Gino Canedese in the 1950's. The fish and its fins are beautifully created with orange, white, yellow and clear glass stripes. A beautiful addition to any glass collection.
