1960s Italian Mazzega Chandelier by Carlo Nason

A stunning and very unusual Italian Murano glass chandelier attributed to Carlo Nason for Mazzega Glass. The chandelier is comprised of interlocking Italian Murano hand-blown glass pieces each in the form of a No. 6 which hang on a metal plastic coated cross frame which fixes directly to the ceiling. The clear and white glass pieces hooked into one another. The glass is very similar to Mazzega, Italy, and lights designed by Carlo Nason. The '6' elements have a great weight with clear and white frosted hand-blown glass and hang on three cascading levels of interlocking glass.
