An Italian smoked glass, chromed-silver and chromed-brass display or drinks cabinet designed by Renato Zevi during the 1970s. The Hollywood Regency style cabinet has three fixed smoked-glass display shelves and doors with brass door handle-pulls. The sides, back and bottom of the cabinet are also made from smoked glass held within the chromed brass and chrome frame. The doors are held shut via a magnetic closing mechanism. The cabinet is in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the smoked glass including the shelves which is rare.
The cabinet has had one lady owner who bought it when it was brand new in the 1970s and has really looked after it. It really is in the best condition one could hope for.
This wonderful cabinet would fit well in a living or dining room to conceal your drinks and glasses in any style space specifically a Hollywood Regency glamorous scenario perhaps mixing old with new. It's also low enough to be able to display items on top.
I also have a 1970s French Maison Jean Charles brass and chrome square coffee table signed "Jean Charles" on the side of the brass frame which would go very well with this piece.
