1960s German Kaiser Leuchten Murano glass and chrome chandelier. The three sections of oval clear and frosted glass are suspended from a thick round-link chrome chain. Each section of glass has been handblown with a bulbous frosted centre to disguise the bulb and surrounded by clear textured glass. Each of the three sections are connected to the aluminium frame with a feature round chrome flat-headed screw which connects to the single polished chrome bulb-holder in the centre. In very good vintage condition with some small rust patches on the chrome chain links but the polished chrome ceiling cup and bulb holder are in very good condition. The Murano glass has no chips or cracks. Kaiser Leuchten are known for the quality of their lighting.
This is an unusual version of this light which is usually brass with amber coloured glass.
The light has been rewired by a professional electrician and requires a single E27 acre-in bulb.
