1970s circular flush mount ceiling light manufactured by Kaiser Leuchten in Germany. the manufacturer's label is still present on the metal frame.
The heavily textured circular clear glass shade is made from a single piece of glass which is folded around a white painted metal frame. The glass is secured onto the frame via three brass screws. The frame is slightly smaller than the shade leaving a slight gap for the light to reflect onto the ceiling. Three chrome reflective plates are fixed under each bulb fitting to help reflect the light back through the shade. This is illustrated in the images. The three brass screws have a wonderful aged patina with some small age related scratches.
In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the shade. There is some discolouration to the white frame but this is mostly covered by the shade and therefore not visible. Due to the thickness and weight of the glass I would recommend that it's fixed to a joist rather than just to the ceiling plaster.
The light requires three E27 screw-in bulbs and has been rewired by a professional electrician and is therefore in full working order.
Perfect for any room of the home specifically with a low ceiling where height is an issue.
