1970s Italian white-lacquered metal table lamp with a white conical acrylic shade. Designed by Harvey Guzzini and manufactured by Guzzini. The shade unscrews from the base at the top for storage and cleaning purposes. The lamp is very well made and quite heavy.
The futuristic, space-age design encapsulates Italian modernism of the period. The shade diffuses a wonderful soft glowing and even light therefore creating a wonderful relaxing ambiance in the surrounding room where it's placed. Three equally spaced lightbulbs sit within the lampshade therefore helping to diffuse the light equally around it.
The lamp is in a good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or dents to the shade. There are some very faint scratches which are barely visible. There are some scuffs to the metal circular base and one tiny chip (see images) commensurate with its age which do not detract from the overall look of this beautiful light.
In full working order. The wiring has been checked by a professional electrician. The on/off switch is fitted along the black flex.
The light requires 3 x small E14 lightbulbs. Max 40w. I would recommend LED pygmy bulbs as illustrated in the images but candle bulbs would also work well.
