1960s Vintage German illuminated lucite mirrored glass wall mirror manufactured by Erco. The round mirror is suspended within an unusual abstract sculpted and textured moulded lucite frame which is backlit.
Four E14 Edison screw in lightbulbs are required which are surrounded by a red removable plastic ring which creates a wonderful warm glow. This can be removed easily if you'd prefer a white light instead.
A pull switch sits behind the mirror at the bottom which allows the mirror to be turned on and off easily at the wall if required. I would recommend hard wiring the mirror into the wall in order to avoid having a flex running to a plug socket but this is not always possible. The mirror works well in most rooms of the home to add a wow factor or make a space a little more interesting. I've also fitted them into a bathroom or cloak room.
The mirror has been checked by an electrician and is in full working order.
I also have an identical version with a orange/yellow ring rather than a red one.
