1970s German wall lights featuring polished chrome bases paired with hand-blown oval shades crafted from thick, clear bubble glass. Attributed to the renowned manufacturer Glashütte Limburg. Their ingenious design allows the glass shades to be effortlessly secured via a metal spring fitting, ensuring that bulb changes are remarkably simple.
Installation is equally well-considered, utilising a durable plastic oval wall support that mounts directly to the surface. The sleek chrome housing then seamlessly slots over the support and is locked firmly into place with a discreet screw at the base. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order, requiring a single E14 screw-in bulb. While they remain in excellent vintage condition, one fixture displays minor surface scratches on the front. These versatile lights are a perfect choice for adding mid-century character to a living room, dining area, or hallway, and they serve as sophisticated accents when flanking a bathroom vanity.
