A beautiful and very unusual 1970s German waved hanging ceiling glass pendant light attributed to the upmarket lighting brand Peill & Pützler.
The heavy, and thick, silky matt, glass shade features a mottled feathered design in shades of brown, gold, tan and taupe which spread across three sections of the glass equidistant from each other. A brown rim runs around its circumference.
The height can be adjusted by adding or removing the chrome links on the chain from which the shade is suspended.
A single E27/E26 screw in lightbulb is required. The wiring has been checked by an electrician and is in full working order. In the images I have lit the shade with an LED bulb with an interesting filament. As you can see this enhances the colour which is quite different to when it's not lit.
In very good condition. No cracks, chips or scratches to the glass. The chrome sections show some age related rust in places.
Perfect for above a dining table or kitchen island because you can then see both sides of the glass.
