An unusual space age 1970s German Peill & Pützler bell-shaped hanging ceiling glass pendant light.  The opal striped-glass circular shade is suspended from a polished chrome chain and ceiling canopy.

The heavy, and thick, mouth-blown, silky matt, glass shade features a white stripe set against a grey background which runs over the whole of the light from one side to the other.  The shade still retains the original clear adhesive manufacturer's label.

The height can be adjusted by adding or removing the chrome links on the chain.

A single E27/E26 screw in lightbulb is required.  The wiring has been checked by an electrician and is in full working order.

In very good condition.  No cracks, chips or scratches to the glass.

Piell & Putzler was a German company that was known for its high-quality glass lighting. Putzler flush mounts were popular in the 1970s.

Perfect for above a dining table or kitchen island/dining area.
