1970s "Fat Lava" hexagonal brown and off-white ceramic wall lights or sconces which were manufactured by Hustadt Leuchten Keramik in West Germany. The 'Fat Lava' bubbled off-white glaze emulating lava is particularly prevalent around the outer edge of the wall lights and around the raised chrome bulb holder. I only have three of this specific design. As you can see from the images two have a gloss finish and one is matt. I am therefore selling them individually. A pair could be used as wall lights perhaps in a living room or for either side of the bed but if you have more they can be connected together to create a mosaic effect across the wall. There is a small notch in the middle of each side which the electrical wire can slot into to connect each wall light together allowing them to sit flush against the wall.
Two of the wall lights have the maker's label on the metal plate which holds the bulb holder and fixes it to the wall with a small screw on their side to hold them in place.
A single E27/E26 lightbulb preferably with a chrome top (see images) is required which helps to reflect the light beautifully across the wall behind. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.

Wikipedia's description of Fat Lava:
West German Art Pottery is essentially a term describing the time period of 1949–1990 and became the early way to describe the pottery because the country of origin, with numbers denoting the shape and size, was often the only "mark" on the base. Even though company names are now better known, and many items are attributed to specific makers, the more generic term "West German pottery" remains in common use. "Fat Lava" is a popular term that strictly refers to a fairly small subcategory of glazes but is all too often improperly used as a synonym for West German pottery.
