1970s, frosted-glass, pendant hanging ceiling light manufactured in Germany. Designed by J. T. Kalmar for Kalmar Franken KG. The light has a textured, frosted, iced-glass circular shade, with a chrome central bulb holder which is suspended from a height adjustable white flex. The shade is made from one piece of glass fused together where the glass joins together on one side. The frosted glass helps to diffuse the light and the chrome ring suspended on the underside helps to disguise the lightbulb.
The pendant light would be a perfect addition for a small living room, dining room, hallway or bedroom.
The light requires a single E27 screw in bulb. The images are of the light before it was rewired. More images to follow. There is a small hole where the glass fuses together at the joint which I have illustrated in the images.
