1960s Fajance Series Johanne Gerber for Royal Copenhagen Dish



A beautiful and abstract flower motive decorative dish designed by Johanne Gerber for Royal Copenhagen Denmark in the 1960s. The design line BACA was initiated in 1965 by Nils Thorson. It is marked Royal Copenhagen Denmark, Fajance, 780/2884, the designer's initials JG in the BACA circle and the initials for the person, who carried out the actual decoration. The design is of a beautiful abstract flower motive in blue and white with brown trees rising across the design. The different colours are layered across one another to give an illusion of depth.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze.
