1960s French wheat sheaf coffee or cocktail table in the style of Maison Bagues. The top is made from bevelled toughened glass which rests on four rubber stoppers which sit within the gilded metal frame. The sheaf is tied with a gilt rope around the middle. Coco chanel had a similar table in her living room. This coffee table features the original smoked glass top resting on a gilded metal frame in the shape of wheat sheaves.
