1970s Nylon and Perspex Sompex Pendant Light

1970s German futuristic nylon, perspex, brass and chrome 'fishing line' pendant, hanging, ceiling light. Manufactured by Sompex and designed by French designer Paul Secon. The light is very cleverly constructed with connecting nylon line strung around a perspex frame.  The light is constructed from seven perspex spokes which slot into a circular frame which the bulb sits inside. A polished brass cylinder sits on top of bulb holder which has some age related tarnishing.

It's an amazing design and  looks different from every angle.  The light is reflected beautifully through the nylon.  Perfect for every room of the house.  The light requires a single E27 screw-in bulb.  In full working order.  There is also some age related wear to the chrome ceiling cup as shown in the images.
