Pair of 18th century Swedish Gustavian painted glass candle holder wall sconces. Originate from King Gustav III in the late 1700s who loved art and was sadly assassinated.

The candleholders have been reverse painted. Please note that there is a crack in the glass on the bottom right hand side of one of the sconces and the other has a piece of glass missing in the top left hand side which is illustrated in the images shown.
