Pair of 1970s vintage Italian Murano glass wall sconces or lights in the style of Franco Luce or Sölken Leuchten. The transparent mottled leaf has a protruding vein running down the centre and a stem at the bottom which holds it in place. The glass is smooth on the outside with tiny shards of glass on the inside that provide a mottled effect which help to hide the bulbs and the triangular frame. A silver triangular metal frame supports the lightbulb holder and hides the wires behind. Three pre-drilled screw holes are drilled into it. One at the top and two at the bottom. The supporting frame seems to have been made more recently than the glass. Two prongs extend from the base of the frame on to the bottom of the glass leaf to hold it in place. In very good vintage condition.
Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. Each sconce requires a single E14 candle bulb.
