Pair of Austrian wall sconces manufactured by Kinkeldey in Austria during the 1960s. The cut crystal star faceted and chromed metal.1960s The rectangular cut crystal glass shades slot onto a thin rectangular chrome plated frame which also holds the two lightbulb holders. The cut glass shade is constructed from 12 individual identical square glass prisms - 6 on the front and 3 on each side.
2 x E14 Edison screw in bulbs are required in each sconce. One points upwards and one downwards to help evenly spread the light throughout the glass shade. The cut glass faceted prisms help to reflect the glass beautifully to make them sparkle.
In good vintage condition with some small scratches to the chrome frame. The glass is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The squares are individually wired onto the chrome frame behind.
