A beautiful light brown-green stoneware vase with hare’s fur glaze which is characterised by a soft dappled pattern.  Designed by Berndt Friberg (1899-1981) who was a Swedish ceramic artist renowned for his wheel-thrown pottery, intricate glazes, and shapes inspired by ancient Far Eastern ceramics. He worked at the Gustavsberg factory from 1934 to 1981.

Friberg has signed this piece with his incised signature "Friberg" and the Gustavsberg manufacturer's hand mark inside an inscribed G, along with the production year letter "V" which indicates it was made in 1952. His work can be found in the National Museum in Stockholm and in Denmark in Copenhagen.

I have priced this item accordingly because I believe the top of the neck and the rim may have some historic repairs.  There is a tiny white mark beneath the rim illustrated in the images which I am unsure about as well.  It is still an amazing vase.  The images are part of the description.
