A 1970s directional, adjustable, chromed metal, space-age two-shade floor lamp attributed to German manufacturer Cosack Leuchten.  The interior of each of the two shades is lacquered white with a polished chrome exterior.  The shades can be adjusted up and down and right and left allowing them to provide a focused stream of light which is perfect to illuminate a dark corner, piece of art or objet as well as for reading purposes.  A wonderfully well-made functional floor lamp.  The light is evenly and well balanced in its shape, design, material and functionality.  The floor lamp is made with polished chrome-plated brass with chrome-plated joints and swivelling sleeves.

There is some age-related discolouration to the white interiors which is discretely hidden by the lightbulb and is therefore hardly noticeable especially when lit.  The chrome base is slightly scratched with some tiny dents although it's likely to be hidden behind or under a piece of furniture.  There is some slight wear to the chrome supporting vertical rod highlighted in the images. There is no manufacturer's label visible hence the attribution to Cosack although it potentially could be Koch and Lowry.

Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.  A foot operated on/off switch is incorporated along the white flex. Two E27 screw in lightbulbs are required - one in each lamp.  I would recommend LED spots for energy saving purposes and to reduce heat.

Dimensions:  Base Diameter: 22cm Supporting Rod Height: 150cm
