1970s Italian Liwan's Chrome & Brass Picture Frame

A large and imposing 1970s Italian, self-standing, picture frame designed by Liwan's of Rome for Maison Mercier Freres. Made from highly-polished, mirror-like, chrome and chromed-brass. The frame is signed on the outside edge. The back opens easily to place a photograph inside behind the glass. The inset rectangular protective glass, which the picture sits behind, has been replaced recently.  There are one or two small dents to the outside of the frame which are barely noticeable when it's stood up in place. There are some age-related light scratches which are visible on the polished chrome that can only be seen in certain light.  A perfect wedding gift.
