An elegant mid century modern chandelier designed during the 1960s by Italian lighting designer Gaetano Sciolari for Sciolari Lighting. The light features three-arms with six lights at the top of each end of the polished chromed-metal vertical tubes. The arms are fixed to a polished chrome rod which the flying almost bat-like designed buttress arms are attached. Cream-coloured removable sculpted metal plates clip to each side of the arms which are attached together via two hidden magnets inside which is designed to enable easy access to the wiring for each bulb holder.
The three-branches support six small bayonet lightbulbs (B15). In good vintage condition having been completely restored and polished however there is some tarnishing remaining to the chrome in places. The chain is rusty in places commensurate with its age. The chandelier has been rewired by a professional electrician.
