1960s, White & Newton of Portsmouth Ltd, Teak extendable dining table & 6 chairs. Made in England. The table has only had one previous owner whom I bought it from directly.The well-made Teak wooden chairs are covered in their original thick padding with faux leather beige fabric. The chairs are in excellent condition and are very well made with limited use. Strangely the faux-leather on one of the chairs has a number of tiny splits which are hardly noticeable but are commensurate with its age and use. I don't know what would have caused this on only one chair. All the others are in excellent condition. The middle leaf of the table has had limited use and is a slightly darker colour than the outer two leaves. This discolouration is to be expected from a table of this age. A wonderful table and quite rare to source.
