1970s flush mount metal framed ceiling light with 21 facetted prism crystal glass square elements suspended from it. Manufactured by Kinkeldey in Germany. The square glass elements are held onto the frame with round-top polished-gold coloured screws in the centre. The glass elements are therefore very easy to remove when fitting the flush mount to the ceiling, cleaning purposes or changing the lightbulbs inside. The beautiful facetted prism glass reflects the light beautifully providing a silver shimmering reflection from each one.
The flush mount requires 4 x Edison E27/E26 screw in lightbulbs which are not included. The off-white yellow metal frame shows some signs of wear and rust which are not visible when the glass is in situ. I would perhaps recommend repainting the frame to match your ceiling colour. Three of the gold screws are missing and have been replaced with tiny bolts which I have fitted to one side. The facetted glass elements have some tiny chips which are barely visible especially when the light is in place on the ceiling. I have reflected this in the price.
Rewired and in full working order.
Perfect for most rooms of the home perhaps where you have a low ceiling and not enough height for a hanging light. Flush mounts also work well in smaller rooms specifically hallways, landings and powder room/bathrooms.
