Pair of contemporary brass curved "Beetle" uplighter wall sconces or wall lights. Inspired by an Italian Stilnovo mid century design. The antique polished lacquered brass is of a high quality. The sconces feature a curved design with sleek lines and both a minimalist contemporary and traditional look.
The single bulb holder is hidden behind the curved brass shell which reflects and diffuses the light beautifully behind to illuminate the upper wall and ceiling.
A metal fixing plate is fixed to the wall first and two feature round brass screws which sit either side of the lamp holder stem secure the sconce onto the wall. Very easy to install.
A single large Bayonet B22 lightbulb is required in each sconce. The sconce has been rewired and the bulb holder replaced. I purchased the sconces from a new restaurant near my home in Queens Park who was unable to use them in their scheme in the end. The sconces originally had bulb holders that weren't compatible in the UK which is why they had to be replaced.
