A large 1950s vintage industrial wall hanging medicine cabinet which was originally used in hospitals and/or chemist shops to store and display medicine and medical equipment etc.
The cabinet is constructed from brushed aluminium with a toughened clear glass door and an opaque white section at the top. The door opens on the left and is easily detachable by lifting it off its hinges which is very helpful when fixing the cabinet to the wall to reduce the weight and for storage/transportation purposes.
As I am now leaving my shop I do not have anywhere to put the cabinet hence the reason for putting it up for sale. I have had four new toughened glass shelves made which are height adjustable or removable depending on your requirements. More can be added if required. The cabinet door does have a key hole on the right but the original key and lock were not present when I bought it. A piece of metal at the top of the cabinet can be used to hold the door in place but it is rather high depending where you put the cabinet. The cabinet is perfect in a residential kitchen or bathroom or in a commercial space for display purposes. An LED light could be easily fitted into the opaque top section which would help to illuminate the contents inside.
The condition is used and there are some small holes in the back section which you can see in the images if you zoom in.
