"Nineteen Something Or Other" is a desirable, discontinued art poster by the acclaimed British-American artist Jon Burgerman, best known as a leading figure in the popular "Doodle" art creative style.
Originally sold through IKEA's "BILD" range in 2007, this piece has since become a sought-after collectible poster due to its vibrant composition of crammed, cartoon-like characters that exhibit a mix of joy, anxiety and silliness. The print, showcases Burgerman's signature humour and arresting visuals, bridging the gap between fine art, urban art, and pop-culture.
This poster is in very good condition, remaining unfolded and at its original, uncut size. While there are some minor, non-visible tears along the outer edges, the print has been well-preserved by the perspex front of its brushed aluminum frame. The frame itself shows some age-related wear, particularly around the corners, but it has successfully protected the integrity of the artwork within. If you're not in London it maybe more cost-effective and safer to buy a new frame where you live and I can mail the poster to you in a cardboard tube rather than in the frame.
