This captivating piece dating back to the seventies is a modern three-dimensional wall sculpture crafted from metal and finished with a rich, gold powder coating. Originally a light fixture in an Italian hotel but sadly that's the only information the dealer whom I purchased it from could divulge at the time.
It features a dense, repeating geometric pattern composed of numerous circular tubes, or rings, that are meticulously attached together with small round-headed rivets to form a substantial, square panel. Two hooks slot into the small holes which feature in every tube which are part of the original design. The piece weighs around 3kgs so not too heavy.
There is some age related wear in places which is barely noticeable and one or two of the circles are slightly bent.
