A striking pair of mid century, 1960s, Austrian, J.T Kalmar for Kalmar Franken, two-tiered, wall sconces or wall lights. The wall lights are from their "Soria" series. The five thick and heavy solid iced textured glass are suspended from a gold satin-lacquered frame by three chrome screws on the top and two below which can be removed to access the lightbulbs which can also be accessed from above. Each sconce requires two Edison E14 screw-in candle or pygmy lightbulbs which both sit vertically in the frame. Works with both 110v or 220v. Rewired and in full working order. In very good vintage condition.
