Pair of small 1970s iced-glass textured wall sconces or wall lights manufactured by the upmarket German light manufacturer Kaiser Leuchten. The rectangular thick textured glass screws onto a white lacquered metal frame which is easily screwed into the wall. The glass shade is held onto the metal frame by four chrome decorative screws. Each of the four chrome screws screw into the side of the frame on the outside corner so they're not visible on the front of the shade. This allows easy access to the lightbulbs inside. The design of the iced glass shade creates a wonderful dappled light effect. The glass has a beautiful wave texture which when lit sheds a diffused light effect throughout the glass and onto the walls around it.
The sconces are in very good used vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glass.
A single E14 Edison screw in lightbulb is required. Perfect for a bedroom, bathroom or hallway perhaps at either side of a vanity mirror. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. A pull cord is fitted to each one therefore allowing them to be turned off and on directly rather than just at the wall switch. This can easily be removed if it's not required. On the bottom of one wall light there is a two pin European electrical socket fitted for the use of shavers, toothbrushes etc. This is hidden by the shade and is barely visible if not required or not useable here in the UK.
