This Vintage Art Deco 1950s McCoy USA "Tulip Fan" vase is a stunning example of American art pottery, celebrated for its unique design and quality craftsmanship. The vase features a sculptural, fan-like silhouette that evokes the delicate petals of a tulip in full bloom. A vibrant, glossy yellow glaze covers the top portion, while the base is finished in a rich, textured brown that cleverly mimics the tulip's leaves and stem.

Manufactured by the well-regarded Nelson McCoy Pottery Company in the United States, this piece is an authentic original from the 1950s. The company was known for its shift from utilitarian to decorative wares during this period, making this vase a prime example of their artistic evolution.

Its size and bold design make it a perfect statement piece for a mantlepiece, bookshelf, or table centrepiece. The vase is in good vintage condition.  At the top of the vase on the tip of one of the petals the yellow glaze has worn off to expose the white pottery beneath and there is a small scrape to the base. Please refer to the images.

Many McCoy pieces from this period were marked with a "McCoy USA" or "McCoy" stamp on the underside. This vase is more than a decorative object; it is a tangible piece of Americana that captures the bold and artistic spirit of the 1950s. It is an ideal addition to any collection of vintage pottery, Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco decor, or as a standalone art piece.
