1960s Belgium mid century 8 arm opaline glass shade hanging light. Each shade is suspended from a brass arm which swivel to ensure each one is equidistant from the other which helps to ensure the light is balanced correctly. The single E14 screw in candle bulbs are accessed via two small brass long screws at the top and either side of each shade. This allows access for cleaning and bulb replacement purposes. The base of the light and ceiling cup are lacquered in an off-white colour. There is some wear to the ceiling cup as illustrated in the images. The brass has a lovely warm patina commensurate with its age. A stunning and striking light perfect for most rooms of the house or perhaps suspended over a dining table. PAT tested and in full working order. On display at Retro Living on Church Street, Marylebone, London.
