1960's abstract shag or long pile rug designed by Robert Dodd for Quayle and Tranter, UK. The original label states Rug by Quayle Carpets Limited, Kidderminster. 80% Wool/20% Nylon. This colourful rug with an abstract design in various shades of brown, red and orange with a bright central sunflower in the middle. A perfect size and colour to brighten up a dreary room. The rug is in very good used condition and has been professionally cleaned. 

Robert Dodd was an influential post-war British textile designer who worked for Edinburgh Weavers in the early 1960's as well as Heal's.
