A stunning 1960s Italian Murano glass and brass hanging ceiling light designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega. A single piece of heavy and thick Murano glass is folded over a polished brass horizontal cylinder and suspended from a matching brass chain. The two lightbulb holders are fitted downwards on the cylinder which allows the light to diffuse through the glass shade.
The brown Murano glass is smooth on the exterior and textured on the interior.
The glass shows no signs of any chips or cracks. The brass chain and ceiling cup shows some signs of age related wear including some rust which is to be expected from a piece that's 60 years old.
Rewired and in full working order. Two Edison E27/E26 screw in lightbulbs are required but not included. I have used LED filament lightbulbs because they're visible from the side.
