1960s Danish Teak Willy Sigh 'Tree Leg' Dining Table

An incredible and rare to source 1960s 'Tree Leg' extendable teak dining table designed by Willy Sigh’s and manufactured by his own company - H. Sigh & Søn. Model 180. The original manufacturer's makers label is still present on the underside of the table.  The beautiful carved wood and detailing on each leg give the table the 'Tree Leg' name.

The table extends from 140cm to 180cm.  An additional 40cm butterfly leaf with brass detail sits inside the table which flips out to extend it when required. The table comfortably seats six unextended and eight when the butterfly extension is in place.

The table has been professionally restored.  Some small outstanding marks are still present on the the table top which you really have to search for to find with the tiniest
odd surface blemish, consistent with use and a faint light scratch(3-4cms) below the polished surface. There is the occasional naturally occurring dark coloured accent in the wood which contrasts with the overall honey-aged colour of the teak. Overall it presents really well, exhibiting its subtle qualities.

Dimensions: W: 140cm extending to 180cm x D: 100cm x H: 72 cm
