An interesting and kitsch Vallauris ceramic decorative table lamp from the 1950s/1960s in the shape of a Foxhead Shell. A fantasy wonderland under the seabed illuminated by a single E14 screw in bulb sits within the shell. The attention to detail of the fish, anemones and seahorses is impressive and in such glorious colour makes it difficult not to admire although I understand it's not to everyone's taste. However, it's sure to make you smile. It's stamped Vallauris on the base and signed Hyeres.
In very good vintage condition with one small chip at the top on the back. PAT tested and fully rewired.
